“BHABNA ” is a registered non-profit Trust under the Indian Trust Registration Act 1882, Registration No: IV-190306105/2017, Registered under section 80G of Income tax Act: AADTB3188KF20210 and Registered with NITI Ayog ngoDarpan unique id: WB/2021/0295452, (PAN: AADTB3188K), working towards betterment of the persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. We are already running an early intervention centre at our own premises at 2/8/1 APC Park, Baghajatin G Block, Kolkata – 86, along with a vocational training centre for the young adults with Autism since 2017.

Mission

To undertake necessary projects and schemes for the development of child/adult with Autism such as Center for early intervention, pre-vocational & vocation training and community living for the family/parent/guardians of persons with autism spectrum disorder.

To increase public awareness on the unique condition faced by children & adults with ASD.

To make the parents aware about the disorder and help them to understand the needs of their children, share the information on all aspects of ASD.

To work towards their skill training and maintenance of those skills for their future rehabilitation and meaningful occupation.

To ensure a secure & dignified living condition (e.g., Community Living Centre) for Persons with Autism when their parents are no more.

Vision

To network with other parent associations, organizations all over India and abroad, stand united for the development and welfare of such persons and ensure their rights through appropriate legislations.

To organize seminars & workshops for updating knowledge, for the training and education of Persons with Autism and their parents and well-wishers.

To publish a Newsletter on recent research & developments in this field forcirculation among members and similar organizations.

To organize Awareness Campaigns through Cultural program etc. for the public in general.

To establish Self-help Group for their livelihood opportunities of the Persons with Autism at the grass root level.

Bhabna Child Development Center

Bhabna Child Development Center is a unique concept of teaching the children with special needs by a group of special educators. An initiative of BHABNA Trust BHABNA is a non-profit organization (Registration No: 190306105) registered under Indian Trusts Act, working for the betterment of persons with Autism and their family so that they can have a peaceful and meaningful life. Autism appears to have its roots in very early brain development. However, the most obvious signs of autism and symptoms of autism tend to emerge between 2 and 3 years of age. Effective early intervention programs are an important first step for children with autism and those with other developmental concerns. Early diagnosis followed by individualized early intervention and Parent Training can provide the best opportunities for achieving their potential. Vocational training for the youth with autism and other allied conditions also play vital role in their employment and also help them to lead a dignified and meaningful life.

We are running the facility in our own premise at 2/8/1 APC Park, Baghajatin G Block, Kolkata - 86. Our Teacher student ratio is 1:1 We believe every child with Autism need special attention and all of them having potential to excel, our classroom setup is with visual structure & Schedules. Presently we are working with 13 privileged kids in the early intervention section, while we have 10 students in the Vocational section. We conduct parent training program as well for the parents of child with Autism in online &classroom both setup.
